Cana Con Detroit and Green Jobs - Field Report

By Weed Warrior

Today's event held at Cobo Hall highlighted vendors from all over the United States. After reviewing this event,  being a dispensary owner is becoming a small part of the business model.  In order to supply a business, you have to grow it first.  Growing is becoming an industry within itself with all of the seed banks and equipment to grow quality medicine.

5 years after the DEA arrested, imported, jailed and, deported Marc Emery from Canada and back for selling cannabis seeds, businesses like Crop King Seeds are selling seeds over the counter to anyone who wants them.

One of the most impressive vendors was the Futurola cone roller by www.hydrobuilder.com that automatically stuffs up to 50 cones full of Cannabis at one time. At a price of  $459.00 USD, This machine was very impressive and easy to use for a novice.

Despite what you have heard over the last few years from political leaders, the cannabis industry stands to create jobs in many fields from medicine, home construction, road repair, and agriculture to name a few. The people attending this conference are leaving very impressed and inspired to be a part of an emerging industry. Education on all aspects of the business was covered by the vendors and seminars.

Some of the many methods to extract products from the cannabis seed would impress anybody who loves to create things using science, math and, technology. The cannabis industry is spearheading a new green wave of buiness owners.  Leon Small is a distributor for www.allperplus.com an organic insecticide that is used on  growing plants. The product is a favorite for growers and from personal experience and use works well and, the money.

We see nothing but growth in the Cannabis industry regarding growing and harvesting cannabis. While this conference focused on the retail end of the business, the potential for growth in green jobs are exponential, especially when it comes to manufacturing products like clothes, cement, fuel and food among other things.

The end result is a win-win for everyone from large scale farmers to new products created from the cannabis plant for day to day use.
