After the Weed has been Freed, What Do The People Really Need? Effective Jan 1st, 2019

By Richard C. Clement

Stripping the mask of mis-information from marijuana has been a long and tedious battle, starting from 1939 with Harry Anslinger, the Rainbow Farms massacre in Vandalia Michigan and, the ill-advised profit driven war on weed that finances the prison for profit industry. Many of us have sacrificed things like careers in corporate and, other establishment jobs to make this day happen. It was the right thing to do in the long run and monetary profit was not the prime motivator. With time, temperament, reading, research and following the rules, this moment in Marijuana will be a placed in history for those who sacrificed so much.

Official Poster...

Now that the weed is free what can we do as a people to insure that marijuana gets things done?

One thing that must be done is when the new NAFTA trade agreement is going through the congress to be approved, it must include the removal and decriminalization of marijuana at ports of entry into and out of Canada, Mexico and the United States. Encourage new US Rep Rashia Talib to take her bullhorn on the house floor and shout "Free The Weed", introduce the bill and, get the new NAFTA into law.

"Can weed cure the need for better roads, schools, reasonable transportation and fair insurance rates?"

When we have a corporation like General Motors with a Bus and Truck division that can be building passenger rail cars for a new regional/national railroad system, using green technology for a fuel source will create green jobs. There is ample evidence that switching fuel sources to industrial grade hemp will slow down a few of those Category 4, 5, and 6 hurricanes that are popping up all over the place because of climate change.

At Rainbow Farms - Vandailia Michigan

Now MSU and other like minded agricultural educational institutions can study the use of HEMP to create products to improve the quality of life and, finance the debt to pay for the misdeeds of former employees. Increased job opportunities in green jobs have inspired a degree program at Northern Michigan University. As for public schools, science teachers will get new love from school administrators teaching students how to grow this new plant in programs sponsored by extension institutions like they do now.  Urban farming will take on a whole new meaning for everyone like a new and redesigned Tuskeege experiment manufacturing products from male plant leaves.

The best way to protect the children is to quit lying to them. The children are so good with the tablets and electronics that I watch them to get tech lessons. Strongly encourage them to use their tablets, phones, and other electronic devices to achieve knowledge from their teachers instead of dogging out substitute teachers and disrupting the classroom. When the battery runs out on the device and, the technology is not available, using a pencil and paper is a skill that never fails.

Retirees and Senior Citizens vote in large numbers and frequently patronize Marijuana based businesses. They also have Children and Grandchildren that we love, cherish and, not old enough to cast a vote. All children are in need of strong parenting rules and regulations while they are living within your home. Civics lessons are needed in the K-12 system to improve to quality of life in a community. With the passage of Proposals 2 and 3, voting registration and participation will be made easier.

With the legalization of Marijuana in Michigan, places like Highland Park Michigan can re-establish a school district under local control again.  There was no need to tear down buildings and remove an entire school district but for purposes of private profit at $7,500 for each child under 18. After further review the Emergency Manager concept was a big ponzi scheme inflicted upon the citizens in Cities and Townships within Michigan.

After January 1st, 2019 and beyond, this mismanagement of our resources will be easily corrected by new leadership in Lansing. Lots of executive orders and appointments to boards and commissions will redirect the negative impact of abusive managers who were appointed in a manufactured emergencies.

The proper reinvestment of Marijuana revenue into rebuilding education with functional school districts for the benefit of the children instead of the stock market must be a priority.

We are counting on the leadership of Governor Whitmer to review and implement programs to get the job done for the sake of:
  • Restoring the commitment to education and civic responsibilities with the help of teachers
  • Fixing the damn roads
  • Fixing the damn auto insurance rates
  • Evicting and expunging all marijuana prisoners from jails, prisons, and probation
  • Creating green jobs to stimulate the economy with Industrial Hemp Development and research.
On Jan 1st Michigan residents will be able to apply for Marijuana licenses on the new LARA website. If you all really believe that it takes two years to establish a new procedure will be pleasantly surprised.  Your new Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrest implemented, established and maintained the City of Detroit’s Marijuana Information System’s online application system in 30 days as the Director of Information Systems.

Garlin Gilcrest

The new Attorney General, Dana Nessel will reassign attorneys in the Secretary of State’s to appropriate legal duties instead of Information Systems work. Then the pictures will be transferred LARA’s marijuana unit to be placed on the card after 10 years of misuse of technology resources at the direction of the Attorney Generals office.

Come January 1st , the lame duck will be plucked with executive orders and directives to re-direct the revenue to a new and brighter Michigan. When this is done young people with families and retirees can get to places in a timely manner.

Stay Tuned.

Royal Oak Township MI Stands to Gain From $242 to $467 Thousand in Tax Revenue From the Passage of Proposal One

Field Report by Weed Warrior

With the passage of Proposal 1, the property belonging to the Old Mel Farr Ford dealership located at 10550 W. Eight Mile Road Ferndale MI 48220 will be redeveloped into a Health and Wellness center. In the township the proposal passed by a 2 to 1 margin with 664 votes yes and 428 votes no.

The city stands to gain up to $467,000 in income with licenses, excise and property taxes  assessed to the property.

This facility will be a treatment center, growing, and facility that will assist the poorest township in Oakland County Michigan to re-establish it's own police and recreation services for the residents. Recreation centers will benefit the most from the conversion of the facility because the current one is being closed.

For more information please go to the www.investrotwp.com website and register. Then contact Township supervisor Donna Squalls at (248) 542-7540 or email her at  supervisor@royaloaktwp.com to ask for her support to Free The Weed for the Jobs We Need and follow the will of the people.

The future of cannabis is now in Royal Oak Township in Oakland County Michigan, the poorest township in the worlds richest county.

Streets, Roads, and Royal Oak Township Benefit from Voting YES on Proposals 1, 2, 3, and Wayne County Comm College District

by Weed Warrior

When you vote YES on Proposals One, Two, and Three, you will be voting for jobs, justice, and education reform.  Within the new law is a provision for growing Industrial Hemp. Over  25,000 products can be manufactured from the plant and one of them is concrete. If you elect Gretchen Whitmer, Hempcrete will make our roads sweet because it will help to fix the damn roads all over Michigan, especially some of these bridges on the Interstate Freeway System and state trunk lines.

Royal Oak Township Says YES on One

Higher Educational institutions like Michigan State University will prosper in the research and development of Hemp product if Proposal 1 passes. Just recently, Michigan State University in East Lansing MI was awarded a 2.4 million dollar grant form the National Institute of Health to do just that. MSU is an agricultural institution adopting cannabis research will have national implications for other institutes of higher learning. The revenue generated will be reinvested into student development and soften the damage of legal expenses incurred for a few bad apples that come along every now and then.

Recently Royal Oak Township in Oakland County Michigan had guest investors speak to the citizens regarding the old Mel Farr Ford Dealership converting it into a Marijuana grow and community facility. Project spokesperson former State Senator Virgil K. Smith along with Margret Brenner from Minorities in Marijuana did a great job in explaining the benefits of having a Marijuana facility like this in the community. Currently 8 mile road is a major trunk line that will allow potential customers easy access and exit with a community benefits agreement for cannabis to hire Royal Oak Township residents and direct where revenues are going. For instance, 30% of all revenue from sales will go toward local cities and townships, enabling them to have their own police, fire and educational system instead of paying Oakland County for them.

Marijuana Consultant Virgil K. Smith
Supports Royal Oak Township's effort to Opt Into State Marijuana Laws

The Breakdown of revenue for Royal Oak Township, Oakland County and, State of Michigan goes like this: Local home rule provisions will allow locals to regulate facilities and secure local approval before getting licensed by the MM Licensing Board. These laws will help manage the estimated new jobs created by taxing facilities at the rate of %3 that will be distributed in the following manner.
  • %30 to Counties (no more bankrupt Royal Oak Township)
  • %30 to the General Fund diverted to the Firefighter Presumption of Cancer and First Responders Presumed Coverage Fund
  • %25 to municipalities
  • %5   to County Sheriffs
  • %5   to MCOLES for training local police officers
  • %5   to the Michigan State Police

When you vote in November it's to remember what happens in December. The Lame Duck legislature already has their plan in place to change your votes on Proposals 1, 2, and 3 because the Current Governor; Attorney General and Justices on State Supreme Court will let them do it. They are in charge until December 31st, 2018 at 11:59:59pm. With the support of the current Justices, they will render your votes invalid just like the Emergency Managers and other laws passed by the people. One of the clearest example of Voter Fraud is to allow the legislature to reinstate laws that were rejected by voters using the same language as a line item budget amendment to prevent it from being changed.

A vote for Samuel will stop their Lame Duck Plans

With a new Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and Supreme Court Judges ALL of the damage will be reversed through a massive system overhaul of processes and procedures. Electing a Lt. Governor with a Microsoft background in Garlin Gillcrest, the needed changes will be made with cabinet level oversight. New Judges in the Supreme Court will undo the process of voter fraud by legislators into disallowing a legislature to override the votes of the people.

From Now until November 6th, 2018 @ 7:59pm  #ShowUpAndVote at your polling place to be the change agent you need to be.

VOTE YES on  1, 2, 3 and, WCCD!

Voter Suppression By Highland Park MI City Clerk and USMCA/NAFTA Oversight on Marijuana Must Be Addressed ASAP!

By Weed Warrior

An error in the total number of registered voters by the City of Highland Park MI City Clerk will deprive the voters of the opportunity to opt into State of Michigan Marijuana Licensing laws. Organizers were led to believe that there were 8523 registered voters before being cross-checked with the Secretary of State number which was 6500.  In Highland Park you need 10% of all registered voters in the City so you only needed 650 versus 853. During the effort in the last two weeks of July 2018, over 9000+ signatures were collected and turned into the City Clerk. Over 700 signatures were disqualified by the Clerks office on September 23 so that it would not appear on the ballot.

Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Robert Colombo 3rd Circuit

The next move by interested parties is to file an immediate motion in the 3rd Circuit of the Wayne County Court to require the Clerks office to print a supplemental ballot with one question on it. People who have already voted will get a ballot mailed to them and, on election day voters will have an extra ballot printed with the single question on it.

Judge Robert Colombo appears to be a good judge to file this motion with because he seems to have the fortitude to get it done. All voters who have already voted absentee, will get a ballot mailed to them. Citizens in Highland Park will have the opportunity to vote up or down on the ballot question per Initiative petition.

In other news the new USMCA/NAFTA agreement did not include any provisions for marijuana reform despite demands from Mexico that Marijuana legalization be included. This would effectively expunge all marijuana crimes against ports of entry between the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Marijuana users will no longer be detained at the Detroit Windsor Tunnel or the Ambassador Bridge for possessing, using, and manufacturing Marijuana.  The Duty Free shop will be a new experience for Detroit and Windsor residents.

On January of 2019, the use of recreational Marijuana will be legal in Mexico. Since Canada is going recreational on October 17th  2018,  the US Congress must make modifications to this oversight in the provision before being approved. Therefore, you must vote to elect US representatives that will get the job done, especially in Detroit Michigan where Canada is a swimmer’s length away.

Voter suppression comes in many forms and, this is one of them that can be corrected in Highland Park MI as soon as October 9th, 2018, the last day for Voter registration. As far as USMCA/NAFTA goes marijuana reform must be included at all levels of government starting at the United Nations, and every elected political job from the President all the way down to City Council-members and precinct delegate levels.

Therefore  Do not forget to show up and vote YES on proposals 1, 2, and 3 from now until November 6th, 2018 at 8pm.

Michigan Deserves Way Better! Vote The Pro Cannabis 420 Slate August 2018

By the Weed Warrior

On or before August 7th, 2018, cast your vote for candidates who have a proven record of supporting the legalization of marijuana.  Michigan deserves much better in the delegation that is representing southeastern Michigan, especially Wayne County. The current crop of legislators have effectively ignored the votes and the will of the people through their actions. For a political action committee to recommend candidates who are convicted felons, domestic violence abusers, and supporting false claims of sexual harassment by accusers is disgusting and programmed distractions for maximum damage to candidates.

Building Bridges Instead Of Walls, Is Good For One, And Good For All.

By Richard C. Clement - Cannabis Without Borders

It is time to build bridges to unite each other instead of walls to divide us. Friday,  April 20th, 2018 will be the last illegal celebration of marijuana held in North America. Coming this July, Canada goes recreational as they go from allowing a person 4 grams per day or 20 plants to recreational sales. Canadian unions like the Laborers International Union of North America  (L.I.U.N.A. www.liuna625.ca)  cover their workers Medical Marijuana costs as a part of their contract. The change is so profound that Canadian Border Security Agency Employees are slowly being directed to not handcuff and strip search Americans who have small amounts of the medicine.

Website: LIUNA Local 625 Windsor Ontario Medical Marijuana Benefits

Hopefully that memo will reach them very soon because now they will arrest you, fine you a few dollars, and send you back to the USA for a roach (cocktail).  So clean your car out before you cross and wait until PM Trudeau gives C.B.S.A. the word to chill out. When US Customs reciprocates with Canada regarding Marijuana patients, one day there will be medicine sold at the Duty Free stores on the Ambassador Bridge with an exclusive duty tax contract in the distant future.
.

I am honored to be chosen as a guest speaker at the 420/421 event on Charles Street in Windsor Canada.  Building bridges instead of walls is economically practical and is good for the neighborhoods around Detroit and Windsor. Deportations for paperwork and politics have no place in America and sending Marc Emery to Mississippi for 5 years was a waste of our tax dollars. At the same time Florida resident Irving Rosenfeld receives 300 pre-rolled joints per month grown in the same state. Mr. Rosenfeld is allowed to medicate in all 50 states legally. What happened to Mr. Emery was a glaring example of White on White crime. We hope that when things change in Washington D.C., Marc Scott and Jodie Emery will be allowed to return to the USA as visitors and diplomats via the Ambassador Bridge.

Website: Irvin Rosenfeld receives 300 pre-rolled joints per month from US Govt.

All arrest records for Marijuana will be expunged for him and everyone else in the USA when Marijuana is removed from the Controlled Substances Act.  And for the others who were deported on stupid stuff, the City of Detroit will not be used for a deportation station for failed political agendas.  Immediate hearings before Federal Judges and International tribunals will reverse many orders and put some sense back into our government giving direction to its policies.

Therefore by building bridges, you can put things on them like pedestrian access, light rail, or a restaurant viewing platform hanging from the middle. This is much more cost effective than a wall that you can fly a drone over or, get painted on by the neighborhood graffiti artists.

Michigan residents must make it their mission to end prohibition by showing up to vote in the August 7th primaries for candidates who support change through, jobs, justice, and equal opportunity.  Starting June 22, 2018 get up, show up, and vote until I get tired. Then remember to vote again in November to stop their lame duck game in December.

April Is Weed Appreciation Month - Do You Know Who To Vote For?

By The Weed Warrior..

A Field Report from the Battlefront...

Will April 2018 be the start of a beginning to the end of the War on Weed? By ending this war, governments will be forced to reallocate resources towards schools, roads, and neighborhoods. As the annual Ann Arbor MI Hash Bash that occurs every 1st Saturday of April and, as Friday April 20th 2018 approaches, the Weed Warrior is grinding out this annual report to the people.

Cannabis Without Borders  4/20/18-4/21/18

On a local level, the leadership of the City of Detroit wants to illegally restore all of the provisions of the old ordinance that was repealed by a majority vote in the Nov 2017 general election.  This move is illegal because the Detroit City Charter will not allow the Mayor or Council to re-implement any provisions of any ordinance for 365 days after it was repealed by a majority vote.

The people soundly rejected the 1000 foot barrier and other provisions of the old ordinance.  Supporters of democracy are strongly encouraged to contact City of Detroit Corporate Counsel Lawrence Garcia (GarciaL@detroitmi.gov) asking him to cease and desist wasting taxpayer dollars to wage a war on weed.  The electorate clearly told you what they wanted regarding Marijuana regulation. Let the vote serve as the protest petition as defined in  Sec. 403 of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act. Attempting to re-insert rejected language may result in a legal proceeding directing  the removal from the ordinance of religious restrictions based on the 1st amendment provision separating church from state.

Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Colombo’s bait and switch conduct in February 2018 invalidating voter results was a new low in transparency.  Waiting until 6:30pm on a Friday to flip flop on ballot language that he approved to be on the ballot was like, being allowed to changing your bet after everyone has played their hand at the casino. Judge Colombo’s influence would be much more effective if he would issue an order to County Information Technology staff to fix the 3rd Circuit Court Website to allow the reading of transactions from his court. Currently no one can access documents on any case at this court, while the website instructions say that you can.

On a State level, the administrative board that is responsible for approving marijuana licenses has proven itself to be an obstructionist group. This board has done nothing but cause confusion and gridlock for business owners and customers. After 10 years of operation, there is no picture on your card from the Secretary of State’s office, even though you are required to show a driver’s license or state id to fill out an application.   The two boards that were created to add qualifying conditions, and approve licenses, have been stymied by bureaucratic fumbling obstructionism to disrupt the process.  As of this writing date, this board has not approved a single facility in the State of Michigan.

At the Federal level, if it was not for the work of New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, Attorney General Jeff Sessions would bring back the death penalty for people who use Marijuana as their medicine. The rest of the leadership in the US House and Senate is indifferent or hostile  on taking action to decriminalize.  In order to keep reminding the US Senate that it should move quickly to remove Marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act, interested citizens should do the following tasks:

  • Go to United States Senate website  www.senate.gov
  • Find your Senators by State or pick (each State has two of them)
  • If you can't find a Senator, go to US Senator Doug Jones www.jones.senate.gov
  • Call both of them and leave a message asking them to support removing Marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act
    • Strongly encourage use of contact form on their website.
  • Any other concern that you have
  • End your call with "it's time to Free the Weed for the Jobs We Need"

If they do not support or comply then make them pay on Election Day.

I Hate Pot - Yes I do,  I say Pot is No Good for You.

The entire US House of Representatives and certain US Senators are up for election in August and November of 2018.   Vote for like minded politicians who will support the cause.

On the international front, having the benefit of living next to Canada is the essence of building bridges instead of walls.   Canada is going recreational on Marijuana in July of 2018 and, on April 20th, a guest speaker from the United States of America will speak at the Windsor Canada 420/421 festival. The City of Detroit will not be used as a deportation station for political agendas and the 80 year old reefer madness polices of  the late Harry Anslinger and, Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Cannabis patriots and patients on both sides of the river do not appreciate being persecuted for their choice of Medicine.

If there is to be a building of a bridge of unity, US Customs and the Canadian Border Security Agency should cease and desist arresting and deporting people for Marijuana “crimes”.  With the reform of Marijuana laws, charging a duty tax on Marijuana will pay for the construction of a new span of the Ambassador Bridge.

The removal of marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act can only be attained by electing good people at the County, State, and Federal level.  Therefore we strongly encourage you to register and vote to make the pot haters pay on Election Day by electing candidates of the people, by the people, that will work FOR the people.
