Field Report: Medical Marijuana Patients Are Not Criminals at Ports of Entry

By Cannabis Across Borders:

CAB with Canada's Princess of Pot
Mrs. Jodie Emery - August 2014
The World Health Organization was right about Cannabis not being a dangerous drug. Therefore at ports of entry we are not criminals because use of Cannabis is a humanitarian right as defined by international treaties law.  As the Year 2019 progresses, things seem to be improving regarding international medical marijuana patients at ports of entry into Canada.

5 years after the US Drug Enforcement Agency arrested a Canadian citizen by the name of Marc Scott Emery, imprisoned him for 5 years and deported via the Detroit/Windsor Tunnel for Marijuana Crimes, New Canadian law for has been established for users of cannabis as their medicine. Persons entering Canada with a valid Medical Marijuana card from another country will not be subject to arrests or fines if the person:

1. Declares their Medical Marijuana Card to border officers
2. Posses 8 grams or less of cannabis

If are selected to go to secondary inspection and, you have ANY amount in your possession, then you must turn it in to Canadian Border Security Agency officers. By declaring your card you are protected under international law and you will not be arrested, strip searched, or fined.  Then you will be allowed access into Canada and back. Anything over that amount will get you arrested fined and refused entry into the country. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MEDICINE BACK!

Returning Citizen Marc Emery from 5 years of imprisonment
for Marijuana Crimes of selling seeds.

This is a major change in policy from the Canadian government on the treatment of American Medical Marijuana patients at ports of entry into Canada. Prime Minister Trudeau is to be commended for taking such bold action on implementing sensible cannabis policy.  We hope that Canadian citizens who are medical patients are given the same treatment when they come to the United States. As a favor we hope the Trudeau Government will have storage lockers for patients who mistakenly bring their Canada so that when you return home to Detroit, you can retrieve your medicine at the Duty Free before you leave the country. This man deserves re-election because we don't need another Donald Trump in the great white north. Anybody in Washington D.C. wanting to start a war with Canadians is a damn fool.

Canada says YES to Canabis
With regards to military service, the Canadian Government takes care of their veterans by subsidizing their Cannabis use to treat the PTSD effects of military service.  When it comes to Unions, the Laborers International Union of North America have successfully negotiated treatment for Medical Marijuana into their collective bargaining agreements to fight the Opioid crisis.  Nationwide Canada is doing well with their national legalization effort despite what you hear from their citizens. As in America, home grown Cannabis is better that the Government brand and, if you are a good grower, your products will reflect your work.

Mexico says YES to Cannabis!
While Mexico has legalized the use of recreational cannabis nationwide the United States of America is dragging its feet and wants to take the world with them. Suppressing the vote at the UN by continually postponing it because the FDA needs more time to "figure things out" is a international embarrassment to democracy. The executive leadership of the United States of America must cease and desist their policy of procedural insubordination through executive orders and de-legislation by stepping up to the plate and amending the International Treaty as recommended by the World Health Organization.

America, c'mon man!
We the People agreed,
that the weed shall be freed
Meanwhile, Cannabis Across Borders is wishing everyone a Happy 420 day.  Do not eat too many medibles, make sure to visit both sides of the river and, with continued pressure from citizens on both sides of the border victory will be complete and the weed will truly be freed.

Yes Indeed.
